On 24April 2018, Mr. Mamoru Yasuda, Mayor of Muko City, Kyoto Prefecture, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Munin Paniswasdi, Consul-General of Thailand to Osaka, to express his appreciation for the Royal Thai Consulate-General's support for his visit to Chiang Mai Province during 22 - 26 January 2018 which was very impressive and memorable.  Mayor Yasuda also took this opportunity to give a brief report on the said visit during which the meeting with Mr. PrajuabKantiya, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai Province, on potential cooperation between Muko City and Chiang Mai Province was held.   
    Mayor Yasuda expressed his interest to establish cooperation with Chiang Mai Province to promote bilateral amicable relationswhich Consul-General Paniswasdi agreed to fully support with the view to further strengthen more concrete cooperation between Chiang Mai Province and Kyoto Prefecture.
