On 23March 2019,Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Acting Consul-General of Thailand in Osaka, attended and delivered his opening remarks at the opening ceremony of Keihanna Thai Festival at Keihanna Plaza in Kyoto Prefecture. 
    Main objective of the 1stKeihanna Thai Festivalis to promote exchange activities between Keihanna Science City (orKansai Science City) and Thailandin the areas of education, culture and tourism. A variety of Thailand-related activities were offered at Keihanna Thai Festival including exhibition of Thai products, lecture presentation about Thailand, Thai food promotion, traditional Thai dance and Muay Thai demonstration. 
    This year’s Keihanna Thai Festival received thousands of visitors. It helped tighten the ties of friendship between peoples of Thailand and Japan. Theorganizing committee of Keihanna Thai Festival enjoyed generous support from Kyoto Prefecture and Team Thailand in Osaka.
